On this episode, a crowd of folks showed up at the capital to voice their concerns regarding budget cuts to the I.D.D. (Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities) Waiver Program, which along with Medicaid received about a 10% cut to funding. Then, I spoke with Hayley Myers of the Better Business Bureau for our “Scam of the Week” segment where she told us the latest developments in identity fraud schemes. Finally, I spoke with Sandra Dorsey, who formerly served as Magistrate in Mercer County for 8 years and has decided to run again. We discuss why she wants the gig again, the prevalence of child and domestic abuse in our area, and what those issues look like behind the scenes in our local courtrooms.
