Then, I spoke with Laura Blankenship of the Better Business Bureau for our "Scam of the Week" segment and she told us about the growing sophistication of scams involving fake party rental companies. Finally, I spoke with Lauren Winans (Musician & Reporter for WBOY Clarksburg) about her latest song release, the release of her LP "The Truth Will Set You Free" , the process of recording with WVU Students though their student-run label Mon Hills Records. We also talked about competition vs. community and the weirdly high number of media professionals/musicians in this state.
